The arrival in Sicily with its deep light, its mild air and its Mediterranean and persistent smells, gives us a first engaging and exotic feel. But when you see the pier of Cape Milazzo from the ferryboat moves away and the blue cobalt stripe, which separates us from it, is getting always thicker then even, the last thought of the usual life leaves us almost trying to regain the ground in order to await us there on our return. From that moment on, everything changes, the rhythms, the nature, the food, the scenery, the people, the human traces.
